Offered Services

Vivian has advanced training in all the of massages she offers, listed below.

Deep Tissue Massage

Targets the connective tissue using many techniques with calculated increased pressure to release chronic muscle tension and knots. Usually an hour long, this massage is $75 per hour.

Therapeutic / Relaxation Massage

This is the most popular massage performed in the U.S. It warms and works muscle tissue, easing tenion and promoting relaxation. Ususally an hour long, though some patients add time to that, this massage is $69 per hour.

Hot Stone Massage

Water-treated and heated stones are used to allow for easier deep tissue manipulations. This massage promotes relaxation, alleviates stress, relieves pain, improves circulation, and calms the psyche. Has shown benefit for patients with muscular aches and pains, arthritis, fibromylagia, circulatory issues, and insomnia. Priced by the hour, regularly at $80.

Myofascial Release

A soft tissue massage therapy. Fascia is a soft part of the connective tissue that supports and protects muscles. Myofascial release targets these areas that may become restricted due to overuse, trauma, inactivity, or other conditions. It helps to relieve pain and motion restriction by relaxing contracted muscles, increasing circulation, and helping stretch the treated area(s).

Lymphatic Drainage

A gentle massage that aims to promote natural drainage from the body's lymphatic system from muscular tissue. A controlled, specific amount of pressure is used in rhythmic circular patterns to reach this result. Lymphatic massage is beneficial to surgery patients and can expedite healing time, help prevent hematomas, and help limit bruising and swelling. This massage is $60 for a 40-minute session.

For surgery patients, this massage therapy has been credited with improved and quicker healing. it has been recommended to have a series of massages with one potentially prior to surgery and the remaining with frequency after sutures are removed.

If deciding which massage may best benefit you, Vivian can share the differences and suggest one based on what you're looking to treat. Aromatherapy is $10 extra.
